This is the part where I ask as lot of questions. I get to know you, your company, your style, the company personality, and how you do business. These are all things that have to be incorporated into your website, and is needed for an excellent outcome. This is why it is the first step in WordPress Development Process.

Once we discuss what is to be done, I’ll put together a detailed proposal with a timeframe of when your WordPress site should be able to go live. This formal WordPress Development Process proposal describes the site that will build, and provides an exact cost, outline and schedule of completion.

Define the MVP, (Maximum Viable Product).

The definition of the Maximum Viable Product (MVP) as a product that has the features that allow it to be successful and no more. Customer needs are being met. The Max VP is reached when you’re at the top of your game.

Work commences once the proposal is signed. This is also a great time for you to start collecting your logos, images for your site, and writing content for your site. Using verbage from existing marketing collateral is an excellent idea since it keeps the message consistent.

While the MVP is great, once the website is completed, that should not be the end of our relationship. Websites should not be stagnant, if you are looking to make it to the top of Search Engines.

The third step in WordPress Development Process is to create wireframes and layouts of pages. These are like block diagrams of where your content and services will go. I usually only do the homepage, and then make the rest of the pages match to support the homepage. Once you approve this block diagram, we proceed to the next step! Development!

We will custom build mock-ups for your site based on your input and the wireframes. My mock-ups are functioning representations of what your site would look like. This is where we differ from other WordPress Developers. Why create a static image of what the site looks like, when you can have it 50% of the way there with functioning code? This also saves time.

We will develop a style guide, start working on user flows for the site, coding functionality, and interactivity.

Once we have your content, we build the site using the latest web languages. We have been doing this for many, many years, so you can count on us to get the job done correctly.

WordPress Website Testing | WordPress Development Process

Testing is making sure it all works, looks right, and operates as expected. We will go through every page, every scenario, and check functionality and interactivity. We make sure your website is device agnostic. Which means that on any device, any connection, any major browser, your website will work. Your WordPress website will organically perform in the search engines because your site will load fast. When we say fast, we mean your site will be in the top 3% of fastest sites on the internet. We use various tools to check load times for all pages. On average, my page speed results are typically in the high 90’s for desktop and mid to high 80’s for mobile.

Launch | WordPress Development Process

Once your WordPress website is built and you’re satisfied with the finished results, and we have tested it thoroughly and given you the chance to also test, it is time to launch! We will perform any remaining site revisions then launch it to the interwebs. We will also work with you to promote your site. We can set up a time where Jason can train you via Google Meet on how to maintain your site (We even record it, so you can view the how-to at a later date), or we can maintain it for you and bill you on an hourly basis.
