The Buster Foundation
Buster Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and re-homing pit bulls and bully breed mixes. Through decades of cruelty, unethical breeding and irresponsible ownership, a once beloved family dog has now found itself the victim of discrimination and abuse, and a source of misdirected public fear. We believe that every dog is an individual, deserving of a loving home, proper care, and a fair shake, regardless of breed. We hope our efforts lead to a better educated and more compassionate public.
Our mission is to improve the lives of families with legally blind, multi-disabled children. We provide information and financial assistance to help these families address their many unique needs.
How We Help: As the saying goes, many hands make light work. Giving Songs provides an opportunity for everyone to assist in the very large work that these families face each day. Before getting tax-exempt status in October 2013, that assistance has allowed Giving Songs to donate $9400 directly to the blind, multi-disabled community.

In a world that blinds us with despair, what remains to enable us? Perhaps, beauty? In the words of Emerson, “beauty is God’s handwriting.”If it is true that the process of understanding each other can be an impetus for our own awakening, and if it is true that beauty can help us rise above our ephemeral existence or even feelings of futility, then mystique photography seeks to play a humble role in inspiring viewers to reach for, what the ancient Greeks called, arete (actualizing our potential).
